Welcome to our Villa on the Beach

True to its name Villa on the Beach Guest House is positioned at the foot of Sunset Beach with spectacular views of Table Mountain majestically overlooking the City of Cape Town, its harbour and surrounding beaches. 

Villa on the Beach comprises eight spacious double suites individually and tastefully furnished.  Six suites are sea-facing, two at ground floor level, four with balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The seventh suite has direct access to the pool and Jacuzzi area.  Each suite has a full bathroom, satellite TV and internet, access to coffee/tea bar facilities.

Villa on the Beach Guest House is well positioned a mere 15 minutes drive to the cosmopolitan City of Cape Town and surrounding suburbs the Old District Six area seeped in apartheid history to the affluent Southern Suburbs encompassing Tuinhuis (home of our President), world renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens (try to time your visit during an open air concert, you will not be disappointed) and so much more.

To the West of Villas on the Beach a ten minute drive takes you to Blouberg Beach situated between Big Bay and Table View Beach. The corner of the beach has some great rock pools to explore. Many photographs are taken of Table Mountain from here, with the waves splashing over the rocks and the mountain in the background. From the beach you can look out into Table Bay as well as look back down the beach at Table View and Sunset Beach.  When the beach is windy, the surf is dominated by the tricks and aerobatic skills of kites surfers and board sailors, who visit from all over the world to challenge the waves with their individual skills.   When the wind is calm this is a great place to relax and work on your tan.  Look out across Table Bay to the infamous Robben Island home to many of South African’s freedom fighters now a Heritage Site and home to upwards of 74 species of birdlife.
